How Squeezin works
Paste a long link on the front page and press Squeeze. Squeezin makes a short link on squeez.in, and copies it for you. There is no account and no app to install.
Squeeze a link
- Paste the long link. A plain address like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_hole works; the https:// is added for you.
- Squeeze. The window goes into warp and the link is made on squeez.in. The short link appears only when the server has made it.
- Copy, scan or share. The link is copied to your clipboard. A QR code and a PNG of it are one click away.
Each create is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, a human check that runs in the background. If it does not go through, the front page says so and no link is made. Refused links, for example a rate limit, are explained in plain words.
Options
Under “Options” on the front page:
- Custom ending. Letters, numbers and dashes, from 3 to 30 characters, like squeez.in/spring-sale. A taken or reserved ending is refused.
- Expires. Never, 24 hours, 7 days, or after the first click.
- Easy to say. A made-up two-word ending like squeez.in/blue-otter, for voice and phone calls.
Click counts for 30 days are planned, not live yet.
Check before you open
Add + to the end of any squeez.in link to see where it goes, who made it and whether it is safe.
See squeez.in/blue-otter+ (example)
Once it’s live, anyone can check a link first by adding +.
Agents
Connect squeez.in/mcp and your agent can create, check and expire links, and hear when one is opened. Planned: the MCP server is not live yet.
Free is the whole product
Custom endings, QR codes, expiry and click counts will cost nothing. A handle will be $2, once.
